The technology now exist to use three dimensional printing (3DP)to
create large or small complex molds from 3D CAD data. The ProMetal RCT process
achieves geometric complexity and scale unparalleled by conventional casting
techniques. The final results are accurate, uniform cores and molds that
significantly reduce lead times from months to days. And speaking of lead
times, our molds hold a [+/- .035”] accuracy which decreases post machine time.
If indeed time is money, this product is well worth further investigation.
